In conjunction with The Kennel Club and the four UK Breed Clubs.
Introduction
This survey has been established by the Welsh Springer Spaniel Breed Health Co-ordinator (BHC), the four Welsh Springer Spaniel Breed Clubs and The Kennel Club to gain a better understanding of existing health concerns and identify potential emerging concerns within the breed. The results gained from this survey will direct new research to specify areas of the breed's health that requires further attention to ultimately improve the future health and well-being of the breed. 
  • This survey is for Welsh Springer Spaniels that you have owned in the past or currently own. 
  • Please complete one survey per dog that you own/have previously owned. 
  • We recommend completing this survey on a desktop computer or laptop.
  • Any personal information that may be given will be kept confidential and presented anonymously. No email addresses will be collected other than if supplied by you at the end of the survey.
All questions except the disclaimer agreement are optional, but the more you can complete the more complete the picture will be of the breed's health at this time.

Once the survey has closed and all the data anonymously collected a report on the survey and what it says for the breed  will be published by all four Welsh Springer Spaniel Clubs on websites and Newsletters and made available to anyone requesting a copy. The Royal Kennel Club will also have the information available.

Please allow approximately 30 minutes to complete the survey.

By completing this survey you give the BHC, the four Welsh Springer Spaniel Breed Clubs and the Kennel Club permission to use the data for research, which may include sharing anonymous data with other research partners.
