This year has been challenging for all of us, and KEHSA's fundraising efforts have been tremendously impacted.
We are disappointed to share that we are unable to host our largest fundraising event of the year, Tricky Tray, even virtually. To this end, we are reaching out to our community to ask for help raising funds for September programs like School Supplies (Goal: $10,000) and Book Grants (Goal: $7500). These figures represent half of what is needed to fund these programs. Each year for the past five years, KEHSA has been able to purchase all necessary school supplies for each individual student in PreK-5th grade. In addition, each school is awarded a book grant in which teachers and librarians at both schools can purchase books to fill their classroom libraries to support ELA learning in the classroom. Some of these books may even be the ones that come home with your children in their Book Baggies!
Tricky Tray is our largest fundraising event each year, and generates enough revenue to buy school supplies for all Pre-K to 5 students as well as the annual Book Grants awarded to the Schools for a grand total of $35,000. We are entering the new academic year without sufficient funds to purchase school supplies and books so we are asking for your help.
100% of your tax deductible donation will go directly to KEHSA to fund the school supply and/or book grant programs for September 2021 for our children.
