RPG CONSENT & ACCESSIBILITY
In almost all cases individual accessibility/consent needs are easily accomodated as long as I know in advance. Once everyone has filled out and returned the consent checklist, I can then see what topics the players do and do not consent to be a part of the game, and plan the game accordingly. By not submitting a response it is assumed that none of this is a problem for you, but you can always DM me if something in the campaign becomes problematic. You are considered to be within your rights to change your mind at any time for any reason or no reason at all.

This is not a vote or an aggregation of a statistical spread. If any one user says "no way" to some aspect of this, it will be excluded from the campaign.

The results of this survey are not associated with any user; it is all anonymous.

GM: Thorin Teague (Thor)

Planned Game Theme: Experimenting and Trying Many New RPG's Relatively Rapidly (1- to 3-shots each)

If this game were a movie, its movie rating would be: PG-13 <---> R Somewhere in between.

Generally speaking,
  • This is a safe space for all and any violation the sanctity of this space, anyone else's rights as a human being, or any established U.S. laws on cyber bullying, hate crimes, et. al., will result in an immediate ban and you will not be allowed to return.
  • Absolutely zero tolerance for any kind of name calling, put downs, insults─that means individualized or generalized toward any group of people.
  • Sexuality or sexual activity is rarely a major part of my games and when it appears it's left implied and "fade to black." If players decide to go the route of inter-party sex, it will be extremely implied, barely spoken of in fact. Sex is never to be emphasized or fetishized.
  • Violence levels are about what you'd expect for D&D, rated R and generally implied to be gruesome, but the discussion and description is not typically very detailed.
  • Gore levels are very low, almost entirely implied; blood can certainly occur, and anything between attacks that do nothing visible to full physical destruction of bodily integrity is a possibility; none of this overemphasized or fetishized.
  • In-game/in-universe speciesism/racism, intolerance, oppression, slavery, and speciesist/racist violence can happen as adventure hooks. PC's (good or evil) are not allowed to engage in this behavior─this is enemy behavior only.
  • In-game/in-universe torture can sometimes happen as an adventure hook. It will be lightly described ("walk him around the block a few times") or left entirely implied and "fade to black."  PC's are not allowed to engage in any "extreme" torture techniques─this is enemy behavior only. PC's may utilize "enhanced interrogation methods." This is never to be emphasized or fetishized.
Note that if something appears to be missing from this list it could be because I do not consent to its inclusion in the game─of which there are a few. Every question is flagged as optional; I will assume a '5' on skipped questions. On a scale of 1-5, indicate your comfort level with the following potential triggers in each of the stated categories:
