My goal for QATrack+ is to make this project sustainable, and less intimidating for new contributors.
Please excuse the quick and dirty nature of this survey. At this point the project is well beyond the state of unknown unknowns, and this is to get a first pass understanding of the current community. A second survey based on these results and the number of people able to volunteer any amount of time, should come out in the second half of the year. Annual 'State of the User Base' surveys will hopefully follow thereafter.
If your site does not have any resources to give back to the community please don't feel intimidated. All information is valuable, just knowing you're using it adds to the excitement amongst the community.
The individual responses of this survey will not be shared publicly. There is no privacy policy for the project's management yet, therefore comments should be held as confidential.
Hopefully within the next year we will have:
- A single main communications strategy
- Formal project roles
- A moderate understanding of the current user base
- Community guidelines to help engage new users
- Community driven direction for the next steps
