Verify that necessary student training is completed and project approvals are attained.

Mentor the student as described in the mentoring plan.

Assist the student in conducting a scholarly project.

Ensure that the project is written or presented in a format appropriate for your discipline.

Prepare the student to present the project as a poster or other appropriate exhibit in the Undergraduate Research Symposium.

Document your approval of student work deadlines during the SURF program.
