OKNA celebrates Central & Eastern Europe as an invaluable source of artistic and cultural expression, inspiring and immersing the community of Porto into a new creative environment.

By becoming a member or making a donation to OKNA Cultural Association, you are supporting diversity and experimentation in the local scene of contemporary art and culture. Members and supporters contribute to sustaining a vital bridge between Portugal and Central/Eastern Europe by creating a meeting point between artists, curators and many cultural actors with the purpose of growth, dissemination and identifying new collaborative ideas.

OKNA relies on the involvement of its members and supporters in order to deal with organisational costs such as rent, shipping, printing costs, artists fees and more.

Membership  is open to all individuals and institutions that support its general mission.

As an individual or institutional member of OKNA, you are part of a network of cultural exchange involving CEE artists, cultural managers, scholars and activists.
