The Dobyns-Bennett High School faculty and staff are excited to welcome all Rising 9th Grade students to Dobyns-Bennett! We are pleased to announce we have modified the Freshman Orientation process to improve the experience and better acclimate students to high school.
Students will learn about Dobyns-Bennett through building tours, discuss the importance of getting to know your school counselors and schedule assistance, tips and trick for success and a spotlight on CTE, STEM, and the many extracurricular opportunities at Dobyns-Bennett.
Freshman Orientation will be held two consecutive days, either 8-11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., in the months of June and July.
We would like all Rising 9th Grade students to attend. Take note, orientation is for students only. Parents/Guardians will drop off and pick up their student in the back of Dobyns-Bennett in the Bus Lane in front of the cafeteria.
