Wales Council of the Blind Sight Loss Manifesto – we want your views.
The Welsh Assembly (Senedd) Elections are taking place in 2021. We want to present to each candidate the priorities for blind and partially-sighted people in Wales.

We need to hear your views so that we can write a manifesto based upon them. Please complete the questionnaire below and speak freely on the subjects. If you have any difficulty with completing this form, do not hesitate to ring us on 029 20 473954 or email richard@wcb-ccd.org.uk

Please focus your answers on the topics. There is room to talk on any subject at the end, but remember that Welsh Government has the following areas of responsibility:

Agriculture, fisheries, forestry and rural development
Ancient monuments and historical buildings
Culture
Economic development
Education and training
Environment
Fire and rescue services and promotion of fire safety
Food
Health and health services
Highways and transport
Housing
Local government
National Assembly for Wales
Public administration
Social welfare
Sport and recreation
Tourism
Town and country planning
Water and flood defences
Welsh language

In our manifesto we shall point candidates to the other manifestos of related organisations in order to reinforce their views.

At WCB we feel that the following questions relate to the key issues as we see them, but you might feel we don’t go far enough. Make sure to tell us what you think on any of the areas of responsibility in the comment box at the end. We are interested in hearing your views on issues, particularly regarding their impact on disabled people and people with sight loss.

Don’t be put off by the amount of space or the number of questions. Just tell us what you would like to see politicians fighting for on behalf of people with sight loss.

If you would like to be more involved in helping to shape the agenda in Wales, please let us know. You can contact us at Wales Council of the Blind, Unit 2.2, Hastings House, off Fitzalan Road, Cardiff CF24 0BL, 02920 473954 or email richard@wcb-ccd.org.uk
