From Regulation to Revelation - A neurocognitive experiment
Please try the experiment in the video and fill out the result of your inquiry in the brief questions below.

The video is part of our online course that teaches a simple and clear approach to human well-being, self-regulation, peace of mind and happiness.
When our nervous system is regulated, it is naturally conducive to curiosity in, and interest about our experiences from moment to moment. This occurs in the form of engagement with others who are safe and validate our existence at a human level, expressed through happiness in our faces.

These are the main points covered by this experiment:

  1. Once we establish that we are safe, we can afford to be curious and engage life with intelligence, pleasure, discovery, and exploration.
  2. Curiosity is foundational to being human and learning.
  3. We are encouraged to becoming aware of the signals coming from the inside of our bodies as we remain curious.
  4. Being curious means observing and accepting things as they are without judgment.
  5. Engaging with the environment and becoming regulated by it is part of our evolutionary design.
  6. Following the steps of being alive, safe, and curious can lead to a greater connection within the body, from the face to the pelvis and limbs, further regulating our physiology.

Required
On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your level of activation or discomfort (such as anxiety, fear or worry) with yourself BEFORE watching the video?
*
Did you find that your level of activation or bodily intensity increased during or right after trying this experiment?
*
Can you consider the possibility that our human experience can be FULLY described by the 4 dimensions of Exteroception, Interoception, Behavior and Aperception?
*
What is your understanding of how the realm of Behavior (Examples: breathing or hormone secretion) relates to the realm of Interoception (Examples:  Hunger, internal sensations) after trying the experiment?
Can you perceive the relationship between bodily sensations of intensity (like tension) and incomplete facial expressions? Is there a possibility these sensations might be involved in the nervous system's process of an incomplete threat response deactivation? *
