The Global Issues Network (globalissuesnetwork.org) is an international student-led global community with a 17 year track record of empowerment that spans 5 continents. We empower collaborative youth-led local, regional and global networks, as global citizens in transgenerational communities, to build sustainable community-centered projects that address our shared global issues.

Each year, students lead and design GIN conferences that bring together whole host school communities, visiting GIN students, community leaders and GIN educators with change-makers, experts of all ages, NGOs, and representatives from educational organizations.  Schools typically host GIN conferences which have ranged in size from 100 to 1,000 participants. With a growing number of virtual conferences each year the network is building stronger connections and greater impact through collaborative global action and dialogue.

If you are receiving this, your child has registered to participate at an upcoming GIN Virtual Conference.

We are asking you to confirm that, as the legal guardian/parent, you have given permission to participate in this conference.

Below you will be asked for permission for you child to participate in both the conference and any media content that is created like student interviews or the documentation of GIN Project Workshops and presentations, where our students are teaching their peers how to understand and address their shared global issues.

We will send your confirmation of permission to participate to your student's identified GIN Team Advisor and school administration to ensure clear communication and transparency with your school.

You will know that you have successfully granted permission when you have submitted this form and receive a PDF that holds all questions and your responses.

Registration of your child will be complete upon payment of a Registration Fee of $10 USD + FEES. You can complete this payment and your child's registration by opening this link (LINK HERE) in your browser and following the Eventbrite instructions. Receipt of payment will be sent to the email on the account with which you pay and confirmation will be sent to the GIN Advisor in the GIN Conference Confirmations Spreadsheet.
