Gen Con 2024 Stonemaier GM Interest Form
If you are interested in working Gen Con 2024 for Stonemaier/MeepleSource, please fill out this interest form.  Couples that are both signing up should fill out one form per person.

You, the GM, help us by running events at Gen Con.  You'll generally manage 2-3 tables (but each hour you'll only be starting one new table, the other tables you'll just be answering any questions that might arise). In exchange for working 9-10 hours, you'll get a 4-day GM badge for entry into Gen Con.  Our sessions run 10 AM - 8 PM Thursday - Saturday (no sessions on Sunday), so your hours will be scheduled during those 3 days.

We want everyone to host games that they know and enjoy and GMs who are enthusiastic about the Stonemaier brand and its core values.  Each year we share our passion for their games with a variety of attendees, some who also share our love of Stonemaier, and some who are new to the brand and want to check out "that bird game".

This form is being used to determine how many GMs are interested, so we can plan our events accordingly.  Everyone who submits an interest form will receive a response from me (email me if you have additional questions).  If you are accepted and then need to withdraw, please send an email to Derian Reuss at reussdr@yahoo.com.

Thanks for your interest,

-Derian Reuss

Have you GMed at Gen Con for us or another gaming group before? *
Will you be able to work 9-10 hours at Gen Con (within 10 AM - 8 PM, Thursday/Friday/Saturday) to qualify for a 4-day GM badge?  (In order to facilitate our GMs attending other sessions, we will work out session assignments once the event catalog is published in April/May) *
Do you have any restrictions for running events (ex: you won't be on-site until Friday and can't run events on Thursday) *
Gen Con 2023 didn't have any COVID restrictions, and it's unlikely that Gen Con 2024 will have any.  However if there are restrictions (required masks and/or vaccinations) will you be able to be in compliance? *
Most of our events will be for Apiary, Expeditions, Wingspan and Wyrmspan.  We will also have some events for Rolling Realms.  We will also include a few other games for experienced players only (so teaching knowledge for them is not required).

Please select the games you will be comfortable teaching:

Housing Acknowledgement

Stonemaier doesn't provide a hotel for our GMs.  If you need to secure a hotel room, I'd recommend using the Gen Con housing portal (open starting February 25).  Use of the portal requires that you register for a badge (and pay out of pocket for the badge).  We usually receive our badge allotment in May/June, and once we assign it to you, you'll receive a refund from Gen Con for your badge purchase per their event host policy. (genconeventhostpolicy.pdf).

Gen Con Event Host Policy: genconeventhostpolicy.pdf
If you received a GM badge and already purchased an attendee badge, your attendee badge will automatically be refunded before fulfillment begins.
If for any reason your badge was not automatically refunded, you must bring your physical attendee badge to GM HQ by Thursday at the convention to request a refund. This will be processed once we return to the office after the convention.
Only paid, attendee badges (4-day, one day, VIG, VIG companion, etc.) are eligible for reimbursement. VIG and VIG companions are entitled to system credit only. Complimentary badges (such as from a promo pass or Trade Day) or badges that provide special access (such as exhibitor or press) are not eligible for reimbursement.
Reimbursements are issued to whatever payment method was used to originally buy the badge. System credit will be returned to the appropriate account and any credit card purchased will be credited appropriately.
