Thank you for your interest in the SCMM Youth Sailing Program. The position of Junior Instructor is to be taken very seriously. Our instructors will be expected to demonstrate mature and respectful leadership qualities with a priority of safety for all participants.
Note: All applications will be considered on an individual basis. Completion of this application, nor having worked for SCMM previously guarantees hiring for the 2024 Summer Season.
Prerequisites:
- Must be 15 years of age by the beginning of Summer Camp
- Must Complete or have completed the SCDNR Boater Safety Course or approved equivalent
- Must have current CPR/1st Aid certification (SCMM can coordinate post hiring)
Suggested Training: US Sailing Level One Certification
