Habitat for Humanity and SDC HEAL House Wall Raising
The SDC faculty and students have been designing and researching an energy efficient housing model in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.  We hope this is the first of many housing projects that SDC researches, designs and monitors in the future. This initiative is called HEAL - housing energy affordability laboratory. The first HEAL house is now under construction and there is a wall raising celebration scheduled for September 2, 2021 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm with university administration, faculty, students, and the resident of house present in Uniontown, Washington.

All are invited to attend this wall raising! This survey is to determine which faculty and students are interested in attending and who may need a ride in a university vehicle. We will leave around 1:15 pm from the south side of Carpenter Hall and return around 3:30 pm. I will send a follow up email to those that respond in need of a ride.  If you would like to go on your own, the address is 503 Prairie Avenue, Uniontown, WA.
