In order to ensure a successful school year, I need parental and student support.  Our school environment is more diverse than ever; however, student expectations need to be consistent for in-person students and remote learning students.  The health and safety standards for in-person students is critical and academic expectations for remote learning are essential.  Today, I am asking for your support by attesting to a pledge

In-Person Learning
I will: -wear an approved mask everyday
   -complete a mandatory screening before attending school
   - stay home if I have any symptoms
   -wash my hands regularly
   -be mindful of my space and maintain the maximum space available

Remote Learning
I will: -abide by the district code of conduct in the school calendar
   -wear attire for remote learning that is acceptable for the school
   -sit at a desk or table (a bed is not acceptable)
   -wear a headset to reduce interruptions
          -protect the rights of others and as a parent, I will not engage in any Zoom/Google meetings with students
           and/or teachers
         -ensure the home environment is appropriate and meets the same expectations for those in school

 The Code of Conduct remains valid and applicable during times of remote learning and in-person. A student’s violation of any of the expectations and standards contained in this Code shall result in disciplinary action according to the schedules set forth above, to the extent possible. Should such disciplinary action be deemed impracticable during times of remote and virtual instruction, the disciplinary action will be modified as appropriate.  In recognition of the challenges faced by both students and staff during times of remote and virtual instruction, the District retains discretion to modify and apply the Code as necessary as a result of changing technological advances and strategies during such times.
