Please read carefully before assigning your proxy vote.

  1. In accordance with the Bylaws, Regular, Associate, Retired, and Past Presidents members are entitled to vote.
  2. California Corporations Code § 7512 states in part, “One-third of the voting power, represented in person or by proxy, shall constitute a quorum at a meeting of members”.
  3. California Corporations Code § 7613 provides the terms of proxy voting at any membership meeting.
  4. Proxy voting must follow these rules:
  • If you wish to vote by proxy, you must use this official form or a copy/facsimile thereof. The proxy form must be dated and signed by the voting member to be considered valid and submitted by mail or electronically or presented in person to your designated proxy holder. (Note: original ink signature is not required.)  When using this electronic form, it will be date and time stamped.
  • The designated proxy holder must be a voting member of ASCCA in good standing.
  • The proxy forms must be submitted by the proxy holder on or before midnight November 10. 
  • The proxy may be exercised only by the person or persons named.
  • The proxy form must indicate approval or disapproval of each matter being voted on during the membership meeting.
Remember: If you cannot attend the membership meeting, it is your obligation, and privilege to vote by proxy.
