Black Educators on School Reopenings

Given how the coronavirus pandemic is uniquely and disproportionately impacting the Black community, I wanted to speak with several Black educators to amplify their thoughts and feelings on reopening and how it will impact them, their students, their educator peers, and any other topics and concerns they might have on the issue. 

The format for this story will either be one-off interviews (like this interview series) or a roundtable piece featuring several voices. The story will be published on my independent newsletter Coronavirus New for Black Folks, which has almost 2,000 subscribers and has been featured on CBS News, The New York Times, Blavity, The Root, and other outlets.
