This line inspired by the lack of awareness out there for a battle my daughter and I have been facing for the last 7 months. My daughter was diagnosed with a Cow Milk Protein Allergy as a newborn and she developed a bottle aversion and refused all feeds. I stumbled upon DREAMFEEDING , and that was the only way I fed her for months of her life. The idea of a PJ line came from the play on dreamfeeding. She now is averse to solids as well and it’s a constant battle. Medical professionals are stumped and she sees therapists weekly. For a long time I felt completely alone in this battle with her because she would only allow me to feed her once she began to feed willingly. It’s a heartache that I don’t want others to experience or go forward completely clueless as we were.

During the peak of her bottle refusals, she couldn’t be soothed and would simply cry herself to sleep. At some point in our journey, I noticed a light bulb go off in her little head when I began to sing “The Five Little Speckled Frogs” or she would hear it on Alexa. She would stop crying and just listen. It was then our go to move to calm her down during a refusal or when she was upset. It worked like a charm and that is why my first pattern was inspired from that song to promote awareness for feeding averse kids.

My two older children, husband, friends and family members were deprived of feeding her a bottle. My kids didn’t understand and I would often have to explain it to them as well as everyone else. They wouldn’t understand until they would witness a feeding attempt.

Please help me in this journey to spread awareness by carrying my line in your store. Future patterns are underway and I hope to continue to be a voice for other pediatric patients by inviting the public to submit stories. A portion of proceeds from this line will be donated to CHNOLA annually.
