Thank you for your interest in hosting an officiating clinic for your club.  Below are requirements or this clinic to be hosted successfully.  If you have any questions, please contact the CEVA office.

Outline & Basic Requirements

- Clinics are free of charge to the club

- Must conduct 6-on-6 play and sets must be to 15 or 25 points.

- Maximum of 5 scorekeepers, 5 libero trackers, and 3 second referees will be trained per court.

- Club must provide pens, pencils, clipboards, and other materials.  CEVA will send 20 blank scoresheets, 20 blank libero sheets, and 10 "scoring tips" sheets per court to the club.

- Players on the court must wear numbers.  If you do not have jerseys, please tape numbers, use sharpies, or make another improvision.

Design & Purpose

- Clinics are designed for younger (14 and under) or new/inexperienced players.  Clinics are not designed for experienced players.

- Clinics will not focus on training line judges or R1s.

- Clubs may provide 2-3 older or more experienced players as "assistant trainers" to help CEVA officials with clinics.  If applicable, online training requirements for these players may be waived at the discretion of the on-site CEVA officials.

- Clubs may host multiple clinics during a season.

Dates & Deadlines

- Application must be submitted no less than 3 weeks prior to the earliest desired clinic date.  If you wish to host a clinic within a 3-week period after application submission, it will be based on the availability of officials. The club will be charged a $100 administrative fee.

- Clinics must be scheduled after December 1, 2023.

- Clinics must be completed no later than February 29, 2024.

- The club director or authorized representative named below understands the requirements outlined on this page and acknowledges the club will adhere to them during their clinic and in the lead up to it.
