Chinese Adoptee Alliance (CAA) and
KAMA DC are partnering together to host an intercountry adoptee narratives event in Washington, DC!
We are looking for
Intercountry Adoptees (ages 18+) who are interested in sharing creative pieces relating to their Adoptee identity. This can be written narratives, poems, songs, dance, artwork, etc. Each person will have up to a 10-minute time slot to share.
The event will be hosted in-person on Thursday, June 1st at EDCJCC in their 16th street lobby from 7:30- 9 PM EST.
All Intercountry Adoptees, 18+, are welcome and encouraged to complete our interest form to share any creative pieces they would like. This event is not specific to Chinese Adoptees. No prior experience needed to share or participate.
*EDCJCC will provide access to a mic and speaker, but we will not be able to support digital artwork or videos.
The event will be open to an audience of adoptees, parents, allies, and anyone interested in attending.
