and rules “AICFM 2024”

General Information:

  • Abstracts will be considered for oral or poster (Electronic) presentation.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Abstracts should be submitted by attaching either an MS Word document or PDF file to the email below.
  • The abstract should be between 150-250 words.
  • Font face: Times New Roman, Size: 12 points.
  • List a maximum of 5 keywords.
  • Ensure abstracts are not sent via any other method (e.g., through the FB page).

Free Communications:

  • Structured format for Free Communications:
    • Title
    • Authors (maximum of six) and Affiliations including Country
    • Introduction
    • Objectives
    • Method
    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • Conflict(s) of interest.

  • Deadline for Free Communications: 20 April ,2024 
  • State if the abstract has been submitted elsewhere.
  • All abstracts subject to approval by the Scientific Program Committee.
  • Presenting authors of accepted abstracts must be registered to attend AICFM 2024

Oral Presentations:

  • Duration: 10 minutes for presentation, plus an extra 5 minutes for questions & discussion (Total: 15 minutes).
  • Presentation Slides: MS PowerPoint format, to be sent to the email below after approval by the scientific committee.
  • Submission Deadline: On or before 20 April ,2024 , after approval by the Scientific Committee.

Poster Presentations :

- Format: Posters will be displayed electronically (specific format will be notified later).

Abstract Topics for 2024 Submission

#### Obstetrics

1. **Pregnancy Complications Screening**
   - Screening for stillbirth, preterm birth, and pre-eclampsia throughout pregnancy trimesters.

2. **Chromosomal Anomalies Screening**
   - Including cfDNA, genomics, and gene therapy screening in the first trimester and beyond.

3. **Fetal Brain and CNS Anomalies**
   - Evaluation of normal brain/CNS development and screening for anomalies from early to late pregnancy.

4. **Fetal Heart, CHD, and Cardiac Functions**
   - Evaluation of normal heart development and screening for Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) from early to late pregnancy.

5. **Fetal Disease and Structural Abnormalities**
   - Evaluation of fetal anatomy and screening for structural abnormalities and syndromes involving various organs.

6. **Fetal Growth: Normal and Abnormal**
   - Evaluation of biometry, size, and growth, and management of related issues such as Doppler, IUGR, and pre-eclampsia.

7. **Multiple Pregnancy**
   - Management of multiple pregnancies (mono or dichorionic) through ultrasound-based approaches, excluding fetal interventions.

8. **Placenta Anomalies**
   - Including spectrum of placenta accreta disorders, cord/placental anomalies, and abnormally invasive placenta.

9. **Ultrasound in the Labour Ward**
   - Utilization of ultrasound before, during, or immediately after delivery in the labour ward.

10. **Fetal Interventions**
    - Medical therapy, surgical interventions, and other interventions for various fetal conditions.

11. **Artificial Intelligence, Education, Simulation, Safety, and Innovations**
    - Training, safety measures, and technical innovations in ultrasound examinations.

12. **Fetal and Maternal Infections including Coronavirus**
    - Impact of COVID-19 and other infections on fetal and maternal health.

13. **Maternal Medicine**
    - Maternal diseases affecting pregnancy outcomes.

#### Gynecology

14. **Early Pregnancy**
    - Diagnosis and management of early pregnancy complications.

15. **Managing Ovarian Masses**
    - Use of ultrasound for classifying ovarian and adnexal pathology.

16. **Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis**
    - Work related to endometriosis and other causes of pelvic pain.

17. **Ultrasound and Fertility**
    - Ultrasound-guided interventions for fertility preservation and management.

18. **Bleeding, Endometrial, and Myometrial Pathology**
    - Assessment and diagnosis of various pathologies including fibroids, polyps, and endometrial carcinoma.

    - Utilization of ultrasound in managing gynecological malignancies.
