RSVP for APRIL 30th 2022                                                    PTA CommUNITY Day of Service
OUR APRIL PTA CommUNITY DAY of SERVICE EVENT 4/30 will be 9am-11am, refreshments and treats available.

Celebrate the Health & Wellness of our planet and join us as we support our local commUNITY collaboration between Washington Elementary PTA, Roosevelt Elementary PTA, Friends of Center Street Park and The Park People! Roll up our sleeves and dig in!

1. Volunteers needed to RENEW the park & clean up, weed & spread mulch (gloves and bags provided).

2. Bring a bag of bags to RECYCLE. Weigh-in together to get a playground bench donated to both schools and the park from NexTrex!  (500 lbs will earn a high performance composite bench)
       A. Collect plastic bags and stretchy wrap & film and weigh your “bag of bags”

       C. Bring to Center Street Park or drop off at the grocery and REPEAT!

3. Bring athletic shoes to REPURPOSE or RECYCLE! Soles 4 Souls will reuse all paired tennis shoes or recycle the finished soles!

I am willing to help collect and sort plastic bags and plastic film wrap from a bin at Center Street Park. I will remove the bag-of-bags when full, replace with a dry, clean, clear liner bag. I will sort, weigh the bag, log it into the google document and then take the bag to a corporate collection site.
