With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting every aspect of our lives it has been extremely hard to connect with our peers in virtual calls as easily as it would be in person. We are excited to announce that CCSU has approved outdoor activities! As the representatives of the School Counseling program we wanted to do something special! Thus, the 2021 School Counseling Outing! Join us at Camp Mattatuck in Plymouth CT for a day of fun. Meet fellow members of the School Counseling Program and get out of the house and soak in some fresh air!

Fill out this short form by April 7th to let us know you will be attending the School Counseling Outing on April 10th (Rain date April 17th). If you or someone you know wants to attend and may need financial assistance please let us know.

How are we keeping things safe?:

Everyone MUST fill out the medical and pre-event checklist forms on the event page www.CampMattatuck.org/CCSUSC2021 to attend the event.

A face mask must be worn at all times one is not seated and eating a minimum of 6 feet away from another person.

PPE will be provided for anyone who cannot provide it on their own.

This is an outdoor event which will follow all guidelines of the state of CT which states outdoor events must be capped at 200 persons. This event will be capped at 50 persons.

Regular disinfecting and cleaning will take place throughout the day. Equipment will be sanitized before and after each use.  

Each activity will allow proper physical distancing to take place.

Hand sanitizer will be placed at each activity location.

Snacks and beverages will be prepared following all CDC and CT health guidelines regarding food service for outdoor events. (Snacks will be served at the end of the day around 3pm)
