October 24th will be a historic moment for the city of Alexandria. It will be the first time that voters will be able to cast their ballots on a Sunday!

We had to fight to expand early voting on this day so that working families could have an additional day to vote and have their voices heard that without it conflicting with their work schedules or family obligations. Now it’s important that we celebrate the victory by showing up to vote on Sunday.

This event will go as follows:

*11AM - Sunday Voting Push to the Polls Canvassing meet at Charles Houston Recreation Center (901 Wythe St, Alexandria, VA 22314) and depart for canvassing.

*1PM - Sunday Voting Rally & March to the Polls with Special Guest rally at St. Joseph Catholic Church (711 N. Columbus St. Alexandria, VA 22314) and march to the Voter’s Registration Office (132 N. Royal Street #100 Alexandria, VA 22314)

*Sunday Voting Celebration in front of the Ruby Tucker Center (322 Tancil Court Alexandria VA 22314) directly after the march. This will include music, free food, and free dessert from Goodies Frozen Custard & Treats to anyone with an “I Voted” sticker.
