RSVP: Group Reading Committee Book Club
Group Reading Committee is a book club by five diverse individuals, which discusses social and environmental issues.

We'll be reading at the following times at the Substation, alongside Ethos' festive book sale thanks to their very generous support:

Saturday, 30 November 2019, 1 - 2.30 pm: POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT (by Isaac James Neo) [REGISTRATION CLOSED FOR THIS SESSION]

Sunday, 1 December 2019, 12 - 1.30 pm: MIGRANT LABOUR (by Suraendher Kumarr and Bertrand Seah) - COME FOR THIS!
- “Myths and Facts: Migrant Workers in Singapore” by Charan Bal from Living with Myths in Singapore, edited by Thum Ping Tjin and Loh Kah Seng
- The Functions and Reproduction of Migrant Labour: Comparative Material from Southern Africa and the United States by Michael Burawoy.
