BASD Education Foundation                   Teacher Mini-Grant Application - 2019
Application Deadline:  Friday, November 8, 2019

In order to be considered for an award of up to $1,000, the teacher(s) must develop and submit an original project proposal.  The Trustees will award mini-grants that enhance the quality of the educational experience for students in a way that would otherwise be missed.

The emphasis is on stimulating new teaching ideas and new learning opportunities.  Capital improvements or purchase of items normally included in school line-item budgets are not eligible.  The Trustees are looking for original ideas with high-mileage potential for the students.  For example, requests for field trips, speakers, equipment, and/or routine supplies will not be considered unless they are an integral part of the creative program or project.

An expense accounting report along with receipts must be submitted to the Foundation Board at the annual presentation meeting in the Spring.  Any unused funds must be returned to the Foundation.
