Dad’s Cookies
My dad makes the best chocolate chip cookies. First he gets all the ingredients he needs and puts them out on the counter. While he mixes the batter, he preheats the oven to 375°. To make them taste extra good, he uses a little extra butter and melts it in the microwave before mixing it in. Once the dough is ready, he sets the bowl in the refrigerator for about 20 min. to harden. Then he spoons globs of the dough on sheets of aluminum foil instead of a baking pan. By doing this, the cookies seldom burn on the bottom. And to clean up, all he has to do is throw the used foil away.
