CTL Student Partner Faculty Application: Fall 2024

The Center for Teaching and Learning is recruiting faculty partners to collaborate with the fall 2024 cohort of CTL Student Partners. Through this program, CTL Students Partners (undergraduate students recruited and trained by the Center for Teaching and Learning) serve as thought partners for Boise State faculty in making their courses more equitable, welcoming, and inclusive. Participating faculty partners work closely with a CTL Student Partner to improve the student experience in one of their courses, receiving feedback and input on the class grounded in the student perspective. Student Partners are assigned to each faculty member and might be from a different discipline than the course. Faculty from all disciplines are welcome to apply.

As part of the program faculty will agree to:

  • Be observed by an assigned CTL Student Partner during every class session.
  • Let the CTL Student Partner conduct surveys and interviews with students in their course to collect additional feedback.
  • Meet with the CTL Student Partner regularly (weekly) to discuss their observations and feedback. 
  • Commit 1-2 hours per week to this opportunity.
