Consider a unique experience offered through Still Moon Arts Society’s Ecological Arts Workshops!

You may be wondering, what ecological art is? Ecological art uses sustainable and natural materials to create art. It offers individuals the opportunity to connect with their creativity, each other and the natural world. It’s fun, environmentally friendly and offers your organization a unique experience outside of traditional corporate culture! 


Ecological art workshops include

  • Natural dyeing
  • Hands-on environmental stewardship session
  • Weaving with invasive species
  • Lantern making 
  • Puppet making
  • Dry-felt to create your favourite plant or animal
  • Cyanotype printmaking
  • Paper-making
  • Salve & folk medicine-making
  • Use a drop spindle to create yarn

Each workshop gifts your team members something to take home – a naturally dyed silk scarf a handmade ivy basket, or a star lantern make a lovely decoration for your home or workplace, or a great gift to share with someone.

Learn a new skill with your team and engage in sustainable art and gift making!

Please note: There are various ways that our Holiday Ecological Arts Workshops could be incorporated into your already-planned party. Feel free to reach out and learn more!
