Gradus Ad Parnassum Music Academy
1529 South B Street, San Mateo
This free benefit concert is dedicated to the children of Ukraine and all donations will go directly to Neighbors Abroad's Ukrainian Children Relief Fund (https://www.neighborsabroad.org/ukraine-relief-fund.html). The program features a wide variety of solo piano repertoire from different nations and genres, illustrating the power of music to unify beyond political, cultural, or linguistic barriers. It spotlights the lesser-known Ukrainian composer Boris Lyatoshynsky with a soulful prelude published in 1942, during Nazi occupation of Soviet Ukraine in World War II. I hope that you will join me for this afternoon tribute!
