BAHS Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form
Name/History/Purpose
The Broken Arrow Athletics Hall of Fame was initiated in 1995. The purpose is to recognize the outstanding athletic contributions to Broken Arrow by student-athletes either during or after their playing career, by coaches/administrators/staff and by “friends of athletics”. Anyone affiliated
with the athletic program in the history of Broken Arrow Public Schools will be eligible for nomination.
Categories of Membership/Criteria
A. Student-Athlete
i. Eligible for election (5) years after Broken Arrow high school completion
ii. Example of qualification: All-State selection, contributor to state championship team, national award or other significant accomplishments
iii. Must have graduated from Broken Arrow Public Schools
B. Coach/Administrator/Staff
i. Eligible for election the year after death/retirement, departure from Broken Arrow Public Schools
ii. Made significant contribution to athletics at Broken Arrow Public Schools
C. Friend of Athletics
i. Eligible for election (10) years after commencing significant involvement with Broken Arrow athletics
ii. Made significant contribution to Broken Arrow Public Schools athletic program
Nomination/Selection Committee
a. Nomination
i. Nomination can be submitted by anyone. The nomination forms will be available on the Broken Arrow Athletic website and in the athletic office.
ii. Nominations are due by March 1st to be considered for the upcoming year and submitted online to kellett@baschools.org
iii. A support letter from the nominator addressing the candidates success as a student athlete, coach, administrator or friend of athletics as well as the character and integrity of the nominee and suggestions as to why he/she should be in the Broken Arrow Hall of Fame.
