Nominate a Legend (2022)
Each year, the Friends & Foundation of Albany Public Library selects a new outstanding person of letters to be honored as our Literary Legend. Our annual Literary Legends gala celebrates these writers and their contributions to the community.

We welcome nominations of Literary Legends from library staff and the public. The first five questions are required. The final three questions are not required but will help us in researching your nominee and making our evaluations. Nominations will be accepted this year until 12pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

We announce our Literary Legends honoree(s) in mid-March each year.
We will announce the host branch of our 2022 Literary Legends Gala in February 2022.
