Greetings Sisters and Brothers of the Health PEI Bargaining Unit:

Believe it or not, it’s that time again to begin negotiations for your collective agreement which is about to expire, March 31, 2020.

In order for your Union to proceed onto the next step, we must elect your bargaining team to prepare for negotiations.   We must also have our members fill out their demand forms to set the bargaining direction for the next round of negotiations for all members of the Health Bargaining Unit.

If you have an interest in representing your category during the next round of bargaining, we would ask that you familiarize yourself with the dates and times of which your category meeting will take place.  You have also been provided with deadlines when your demand forms are to be submitted to the PEI UPSE office.  On behalf of the team, we would ask that you have your demand forms in on time as this will assist the team to prepare your negotiation package as soon as possible.

I would like to extend a thank you to you in advance, for taking the time to assist your negotiation team to set the bargaining mandate for the members.  I look forward to working with the bargaining team to work towards an improved collective agreement for the members of Health PEI.
