Excellence in Engineering Communications Winter 2023
This 4 week class meets twice a week. The class meets in-person on Tuesdays and on Zoom on Thursdays from 10:30am — 12pm. The class dates are January 17, 19,  24,  26,  31 & February 2, 7, 9.**

You must attend all eight classes in order to receive the certificate of completion at the end of the program.

Specifically designed for engineers, this class teaches you how to distill complex research and organize it into a compelling presentation. This class will show you how to overcome nerves, use your voice effectively, and connect to any audience. This highly interactive program will help you feel confident sharing your work in a meeting, presentation, or interview.

The instructor, Bri McWhorter, is the Founder and CEO of the communications company, Activate to Captivate. She teaches various communication workshops across the UC Irvine campus. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies, TEDx events and various campuses across the UC system. She has an MFA in Acting from UC Irvine and a BA in Theater from UC Berkeley.
