The Nacogdoches Public Library presents another nontraditional library service, the Library Encounter Box. Subscription boxes are everywhere, and more and more people are paying experts to curate their consumer goods. From beauty products to groceries, subscription boxes provide a selection of items chosen for a particular niche. It turns out librarians already provide similar services to their patrons for free!
Your local librarian not only recommends your next great read, but they also help navigate the world of information and create experiences for their patrons in the form of programs and special events.

The Library Encounter Box is a monthly package designed for book and library lovers. Contents may include handmade items, tips, projects, reading and viewing suggestions, and much more. The box is *FREE* for library patrons, and a limited supply will be released each month on a first come, first served basis. For this first offering, the theme will be Hygge, the Danish concept of cozy warmth in winter, and subscription registration will open on **Monday, January 27th.** Boxes will be available for pick up at the library in the last week of each month. Registration may be done on the library’s website beginning Monday, 1/27 at 9:00am.

**Registration will be accepted until all slots are filled. Completing this form does not guarantee subscription. Subscribers will be notified by email and will receive pickup instructions.**
