Building Impact & the MIT Executive MBA Program: Leading With Impact 2023
Please complete and submit this application to be considered for the selection of the “Leading With Impact” (LWI) program. Applications will be considered based upon your organization's leadership commitment to the project, potential impact of the proposed project(s), availability of your team to work with the Executive MBA (EMBA) team from May 19-24, and willingness to provide feedback and measurement of the project impact in May, and at the six and twelve-month marks.

Participation in the LWI program requires your organization to complete the following:

1. March 28, 2023 (9:30-12:30) and April 3, 2023 (9:30-12:30): Commitment from at least one executive leader plus a staff member from your organization to attend a virtual workshop to further help scope your project and develop a finalized problem statement.
2. April 14, 2023: All background material and information related to your project must be uploaded to a shared Dropbox for the EMBAs to review.
3. Early May: Virtually meet your MIT student team and provide background on your organization and scope of the problem statement.
4. Mid-May: Have at least one follow up conference call with your EMBA team to continue to provide more information on your organization, and take a deeper dive into your problem statement.
5. May 19, 2023 (10-4): Organize an onsite volunteer opportunity for students to come onsite. Additionally, provide virtual conference calls for your EMBA team with colleagues, clients and stakeholders. The goal is to have your student team immerse in conversations about what makes your organization tick even beyond the scope of your problem statement. These meetings should be followed by a 1-2 hour debrief between you and your student team.
6. May 20-21, 2023: Have a staff member from your organization available via phone and/or email for EMBA students to contact if need be as they work on their project.
7. May 22, 2023 (8:30am-2pm): Prearrange 3+ hours of calls for the EMBA team to virtually meet with stakeholders. Between 12pm-2pm hold a virtual debrief between you and your student team to ensure their recommendations to your problem statement are headed in the right direction.
8. May 24, 2023 (12:15pm-2:45pm):  2-3 representatives including an executive leader from your organization participate in a project debrief and deliverable discussion with your EMBA team.
9. November 2023 & May 2024: Report on progress/impact of LWI at the 6 and 12 month marks post project.
