The SJDLP serves as a professional organization whose dual mission is to 1) provide professional learning, networking, and PLC opportunities for educators looking to develop their confidence, skills, and leadership in educational data, and 2) collectively advocate to local, state, and national representatives for best practices in data use, availability, and quality. The SJDLP strives to make every educator a data-confident educator.

SJDLP meetings are held approximately 5 times per school year, usually on the third Tuesday of the month, from 9:30-11:30 am.

Annual District Membership for the 2023-24 school year is $150. Membership lets districts send two representatives to meetings and includes the following:

- 2 tickets to the annual conference

- Networking opportunities with data specialists, NJDOE representatives, and other data leaders

- Meetings for professional development, PLCs with other data leaders, and more!

- Opportunity to advocate for best practices in data to a state-wide audience

- Opportunities to present at our meetings

- Access to presentations and presenter materials

- Special live PD sessions with leaders like Tracey Severns and Shane Safir
