Freedom House provides a safe, affordable home for women and children to rebuild their lives. To ensure the success of each family, Freedom House provides structure, accountability and assistance in all areas of life, equipping women to make wise, God-honoring decisions for themselves and their children and to receive the support needed to become self-sufficient. The staff, discipleship leaders and counselors will guide you in all areas of life.
Freedom House is not simply a safe home, it is a path to a completely new and different life. It is a privilege to live in the home and we want this home to be available for women who are truly ready to change. Perfection is not required, only humility and a willingness to learn and grow. The staff and your care team will guide, teach, protect, provide for and prepare you for a new life.
The following requirements are necessary for your protection and personal growth. You will not always understand or agree with the values, but must be willing to trust God who has good for you and the staff who are helping you change your life. Requirements to live in Freedom House:
• Remain drug and alcohol free - includes smoking and vaping
• Willingness, openness to learn and grow (humility)
• Adherence to all program guidelines and house values
• Daily phone calls to your assigned staff leader
• Willing to be accountable and honest in all areas of your life
• Weekly attendance at Center Church (Gilbert)
• Honesty with all members of your care team (Freedom House staff, mentor, counselor, parenting coach)
• Weekly attendance at Hope for Addiction Recovery Meeting at Center Church
• Removal of friends or even family relationships as recommended by staff
