Our goal is to ensure that all occupied sleeping areas in one-and two-family dwellings within Harnett County have working smoke alarms, and that homes with fuel-burning appliances are equipped with functioning carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. If you do not have working smoke alarms in your sleeping areas or a CO alarm where needed, please complete this form to request free installation.  

If you are not contacted to schedule a smoke alarm evaluation and installation within 72 hours of submitting this request, please reach out to the Harnett County Fire Marshal's Office at (910) 893-0746.
