Dear Rising 6th Grade Parent/Guardian:

If your child is interested in enrolling in the year-long chorus class at Arnall Middle School for the 2020-2021 school year, please submit this form as soon as possible.  The chorus expectations, as they apply to all CCSS middle schools, are listed below for your review.

Coweta County Middle School Chorus Expectations:
• Members are expected to attend all after school rehearsals and concerts. Dates for these events will be given well in advance for planning purposes. For assessment purposes, students may choose to attend a concert or make a recording of their solo performance of the material learned.
• Once a student is scheduled for chorus, he/she must remain in chorus for the entire year.
• You must purchase a chorus uniform if you plan to perform with the chorus.  Prices vary by school.
• Members are expected to participate in fundraisers.
• Chorus students are expected to show mature and appropriate behavior. Due to the number of off-campus events that we sing for, students are expected to display appropriate behavior during class to be selected to participate in field trips. At the discretion of the principal and director, continued behavior issues could result in dismissal from the program.
• If scheduling allows, students may take chorus in addition to band.
