In addition to receiving $100,000 in executive transition grants, organizations in this program will be required to participate in board chair, outgoing leader, and incoming leader peer groups.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be based in and serving Los Angeles County
- Anticipating the departure of a founder or long-tenured leader (has been with org. 7+ years)
- Have already communicated their intention to transition with board chair or executive committee
- Be committed to an executive departure between May 2023 and December 2023
- Have organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion goals tied directly to transition plan
Organizations with three or fewer full-time equivalent staff may not be a good fit for this program.
