Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program
The Penn State Accounting Program is proud to collaborate with the Deloitte Foundation to fund the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program (DFASP).  In the spirit of supporting a diverse student population and to strengthen the pipeline of diverse talent entering the CPA profession, Penn State University and the Deloitte Foundation will cover 100% of tuition costs (excluding books and living expenses) for selected students to attend one of Penn State's Master's Programs in Accountancy of Taxation.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Application must be submitted no later than April 1, 2024.
  • Applicant must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
  • Applicant must be currently enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate baccalaureate degree in accounting (or other business concentration) from an accredited program.
  • The ideal applicant will have an interest in pursuing a career in public accounting and obtaining a CPA license, but not presently a CPA.
  • Selected participants must be enrolled in a Penn State Master of Accounting program (including taxation and accounting analytics) for the 2024-25 academic school year and complete such program by August 2025
  • In the spirit of supporting a diverse student population, applicants shall demonstrate a knowledge and appreciation for the challenges faced by members of demographic groups underrepresented in the field of public accountancy.
