Body Project Participant Interest Form - SPRING 2022
Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Body Project.

What is the Body Project?
The Body Project is an evidence-based workshop for Allegheny students aimed at helping students feel better about their bodies. This program has been found to improve body satisfaction and acceptance, reduce risk for eating disorders, and improve school and social functioning for thousands of college students. The program involves group discussion, in-session activities, and take-home activities all aimed at supporting these goals.

When will it meet?
There are four, 1-hour sessions (participating means attending all four). They will be held on Mondays from 12:15-1:15pm in a Carnegie Hall Room 100 (you can bring snacks/lunch if you want!). The exact dates are: 3/7, 3/14, 3/28, 4/4

Who will be there?
There will likely be between 6 and 8 student participants. The program will be facilitated by Professor Stanger and two Allegheny students.

What the Body Project is not:
Treatment for an eating disorder - if you are currently experiencing an eating disorder, the Body Project is not the right fit. This is because the Body Project is a prevention program and not a treatment program.

Still interested?
Please fill out the info below. Professor Stanger will then contact you by email to make sure this program will be a good fit for you.
