Artist/Something Else: Community Survey - What is your artist identity?
Are you an artist/something else? Do you work in the arts but don't always feel your creative pursuits are recognized/valued? Do you wish that people understood more about what it's like to be an artist?

I am looking to hear from as many artists as possible, including artists working in all field types. Whether you're a musician, writer, performer, dancer, sculptor, administrator, curator, visual artist, or working in any other artistic field, I want to hear from you! This survey will reflect on 3 key areas: personal perspective, public perspective, and institutional perspective in the arts.

The upcoming curatorial project, 'Artist/Something Else' highlights the work of creators who have other identities, their discipline not always being recognized or valued as the work of an artist (especially depending on the organization or institution), and creators who may not be an artist full time. An installation based on community input from this survey will be developed as part of the program, utilizing quotes, anecdotes and contributions from the submissions to inform the final product.
