Thank you for signing up for the 2023  Mission trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico with Praying Pelicans Missions! This trip is sponsored by Aldersgate DE Student Ministries.

SIGN-UPS ARE ONLY GUARANTEED UNTIL DECEMBER 1ST 2022.

Basic Trip Information:

Mission Trip Dates: July 29th-August 4th
Trip Extension Dates: August 4th-August 8th
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Travel: American Airlines, Rental Vans
Cost: approximately $1,200- $1,300 depending on flight cost. (50-70% of this cost can be reduced by fundraising.) 
What We Will Be Doing: Building, Painting Projects, Other Opportunities 
Lodging: Air Mattress Sleeping at a Host Church in Puerto Rico

The cost of this trip is approximately be $1,200-$1,300 per person based on flight cost. This is an all-inclusive price for the cost of the trip.

(There will be required fundraising opportunities to reduce the cost of the trip by 60-70%)

 A $75 deposit is due upon completion of this form. The next payment is due on January 27th. How would you like to pay for the deposit?

SCHOLARSHIP: Money should not be a reason for someone to not attend the mission trip. We do have scholarship money available to make the cost of the trip more accessible to those who need it or who have several family members attending. Would you like me to contact you about a scholarship opportunity? *
SHEETS: Since we are flying, luggage space will be limited. In an effort to maximize our bag space, we will have the option to purchase sheets on Amazon and have them sent directly to Spirit Lake Ministry Center. At the end of the trip, we will donate the sheets to Praying Pelicans. The cost of the sheets will be $15 per person. Would you like to buy a sheet set? *
TRIP EXTENSION: At the end of the trip we will have a trip extension in which participants will have the opportunity to go sight-seeing in San Juan and enjoy the beaches. This is an opportunity for participants to learn about and enjoy Puerto Rico at a much lower cost than if you traveled on your own. 

The all inclusive price will be between $700-$900 based on participation (or less!). This includes lodging, transportation, meals, and excursions. Any extra souvenirs or snacks will be at your own additional experience. 

NO FUNDRAISING MONEY CAN BE USED FOR THE TRIP EXTENSION.

I agree to comply and follow any and all COVID-19 protocols at the time of travel. This COULD include, but is not limited to, being vaccinated before travel and wearing masks at certain times.

I understand that if I have COVID and cannot attend the mission trip, only a portion of my trip cost will be refundable. The $695 toward Praying Pelicans can be donated or credited for a future mission trip.

Passports are not required for travel to Puerto Rico. However, we will require a notarized permission slip for unaccompanied minors to travel with us. You will also have required permission forms to fill out through Praying Pelicans Missions, regardless of age.  *
