Taking what we've learned from our deep dive into plastics how do we educate and advocate for meaningful reduction in plastics usage beyond our own homes? Projects currently under consideration: 1. Plastic bag and polystyrene food container ban, and plastic straw and utensils on request only. 2. Visual plastic art installation.

Below are options for involvement for potential action we might take. Choose which area/s you would like to contribute to.
Research (data, facts, history, existing bills or legislation, potential partners etc...)
Research Coordinator (oversee volunteers and any research needed)
Equity concerns - removing barriers (discern what are existing and potential barriers for participation in a bag ban etc...)
Recorder - take notes at meetings and engagements
Writers (templates, op-eds, letters to representatives, remarks to city officials etc...)
Speakers - willingness to speak at events, city forums, community engagement
Artists - help create dynamic art (for displays, installations, graphics etc...)
Youth Engagement - find meaningful ways to incorporate youth into projects and campaigns
Photographer - visually record meetings, events etc..
Door hanging - deliver collatoral as needed to College Park neighborhood residences
Coordinator for door deliveries - map and manage volunteers
Host planning meetings at your home
Marketing Coordinator - create and manage strategic plan for social, web, print, email, media, photographer
Marketing Volunteers - take responsibility for creating social or web materials, print or email marketing )
Strategic Planning - lay out cohesive and coordinated campaign for action
