Participation Requirements
- Pass the BSA Swim Check requirements (includes adults who plan to be on the water).
- Canoeing Skills (past experience or demonstrated)
- Current BSA med forms on file: Med forms A, B, and C.
- Troop’s annual activity permission form on file.
- In addition, Iowa Project Aware requires anyone under the age of 16 to have an accompanying adult as a canoe buddy.
