Hi everyone! For my senior project this spring, although I can’t pursue an in-person internship as I planned, I’ve come up with an alternative that I would like to share with you all! I wanted to pursue a project that combines my passions for working with kids and baking to try and help families keep their kids busy during this crazy time. Starting the week of May 11th, I will be teaching virtual baking classes for kids of all ages! Below is the form to sign up. The classes will be split up into small groups by age and all of the baking projects will be simple recipes with no experience required. Ingredient lists will be sent out to participating families one week prior to their sessions. These classes are completely free of charge and are just a fun weekly activity for kids/families to get involved in. I hope you will take a minute to share this post and form with any families you think might be interested, the more the merrier! 🤗
For the youngest age group, I ask that parents plan to participate in the classes. For ages 7-11, parents should plan to supervise and help if necessary. For the 12+ age group, adult supervision at your discretion.
These classes are free of charge and on a week-to-week basis, so you are welcome to attend some sessions and not others! Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
