Dear ACPEnw family,

I messaged a little over two weeks ago with a mixture of realism and hopefulness that the COVID-19 growth curve would flatten quickly in the Pacific Northwest. I hope you’re chuckling to yourself as you read this if you were thinking the same in mid-March. Since then, both Washington and Oregon have enacted month-long school closures and stay-at-home orders. And, the COVID-19 growth curve remains exponential.

We received official notification from Mt. Hood Oregon Resort in Welches that they will not be back in operation in time for our conference. Because of this and the uncertain nature of this pandemic, the ACPE board voted to postpone the SecureIT conference to May 2021.

Options at This Time for our 2020 Sponsors

The ACPE Board has met and currently believes these three choices may be the best options for our 2020 Sponsors at this time. We have left an "Other" selection if you have some specific thoughts for your situation. If you need to be contacted at this time, make sure you provide a contact name, email and phone number of the person who we can discuss this with at this time.

Due to the postponement of the 2020 ACPE conference, which of the following options do you want to pursue at this time; *

Our company wants to continue to support ACPE and remain as an ACPE sponsor through the May 2021 event. This choice means as long as your company has fully paid the 2020 sponsorship fees before May 1, 2020, your company's 2020 sponsorship will be extended through (rolled over to) the May 2021 event at no extra cost and include all your sponsorship level benefits for the 2021 event.

Our company wants to give up our 2020 sponsorship at this time to the next company on our waiting list. In this case, ACPE will refund a portion of your sponsorship as soon as a company pays for your 2021 sponsorship option. The $2000 non-refundable fee paid at sign up has provided your company with non-event related benefits and services to date. Due to this unique situation, ACPE will continue providing those services and benefits will continue through the 2021 event in May and your company will be noted as a bronze sponsor. At this new sponsorship level, your company will have one additional benefit added, the option to send one company representative to attend the conference in 2021 free of charge.

Our company wants to give up our 2020 sponsorship and donate all of our payments to ACPE and its goals and mission. We do not expect anything in return other than staying informed about future events.
