Please read the following information carefully and then respond:  We have set June 11-19, 2022, as the tentative dates for our 2022 Tulane Catholic Mission Honduras trip.  These dates will be subject to some change due to flight availability and other factors not yet finalized.  AIR TRAVEL: It is possible, since we are traveling in the summer and participants may be coming from various cities, that you will be asked to acquire your own travel to one city from which we will disembark together to Honduras (likely Houston, Atlanta, or Miami).  Despite the well-known unpredictable factors of the ongoing pandemic, we ask that anyone submitting their interest in the trip plan and act as if it will happen on the dates listed above.  All precautions required by federal law and Honduran law will be followed.  FINANCIAL COST: All participants in the trip will be asked to provide a certain amount of money toward the overall cost of the trip (includes travel, lodging, and food).  For your planning purposes consider that, on past trips, this cost has not exceeded $1200.  Once this number is determined, all selected participants will be required to sign an agreement that they will provide these funds and may lose them if they cancel after a certain date. OTHER EXPECTATIONS: Participants will be required to attend a series of formation meetings (mostly conducted via Zoom) on a day and time to be determined once the group has been selected. CONDITIONS ON THE TRIP: Keep in mind that this is a mission trip: you will not have the regular amenities you expect when traveling in the US or abroad (most nights you will have to sleep on mattresses on the floor, you will have few opportunities for bathing, you will not have access to cellphone or internet except while traveling to and from Honduras, you will have to carry your luggage at times, long hikes on hilly terrain, no air conditioning, unfamiliar food, etc.). *
