A prayer vigil is…a continuous time of prayer; quiet, uninterrupted time of prayer, meditation, and contemplation; remembering the events leading up to the Resurrection of Jesus: his Last Supper, crucifixion, death, and burial; an act that brings us closer to God; a time to have communion, reflecting on Christ’s great sacrifice for us.
